Le Cadre Noir - French National Horse Riding School
Le Cadre Noir de Saumur was established in 1825 to train the officers of the French Cavalry. It gets its name from the black uniforms that are still used today.
Le Parc de la Fosse
Parc de La Fosse is one of the oldest botannical gardens in France. Thousands of trees and shrubs from around the world have been planted since the late eighteenth century around the buildings and grounds as directed by the owner, Sebastian Alexandre Gerard, on 25 hectares of a hill in the valley Loir.
